Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Oops - we've forgotten about our blog! Sorry it's been so long between updates.

This week we've started a unit about Poetry: reading, writing and talking about it! We started with a nature walk around our beautiful school grounds then collected interesting autumn leaves to write about.

In honor of the upcoming St. Patrick's Day we wrote some limericks today. Here's one I wrote about us:

There once was a class called F-L

Whose teacher did not hear the bell

So she kept them all in

But they made such a din

She had to wear earplugs as well!

Not a true story (although there are some big talkers in 8FL this year...)
