The first week of school our homework has been to properly NAME all gear, bring back permission slips (camp, cellphone usage) and complete two pieces of work: Head Collage and All About Me poster, if these weren't completed in class. From next week students will also have 12 spelling words to learn and write into sentences, and a current event to research.
Also VERY important is getting gear ready for camp, which is coming up VERY SOON - Mon-Wed of week 3! Gear lists have gone home and we have discussed them in class. Old gear (we're likely to get muddy!) and well named please.
All continues to tick over nicely in 8FL. I think students (and myself) are back into the school 'swing of things' now. I've already passed on some nice feedback from teachers who have 8FL, saying what a great group they are. Nice! Long may it continue!
