Term 3 has started!

Snowy Octagon!

Well, we GOT a snow day - but it was in the holidays! Never mind, at least we all got to stay snuggled up in bed.

We have started this term with some mid-year reading and spelling assessments, checking progress and allowing me to plan for the next part of the year.

Kaikorai Valley's Japanese sister school, Sakuragoaka High School, has students here this week. 8FL will be part of the audience on Wednesday morning for their welcome concert. Then they will take part in a day full of activities with the Year 7 classes.

Open Night is next week and several of us are involved as guides and helpers. Our classroom is also used as an example of a Homeroom, so we need to keep things looking tidy, although we are always bright and colourful - teachers often compliment me about our nice bright classroom!
