We just had our last Friday at school for the year!

Gosh - the holidays are fast approaching! I've just realised that today was our final Friday together for the year - teachers are having a PD (professional development) day next Friday but Year 7&8 finish around noon next Thursday.

Today we announced to the students who will be getting prizes at next week's prizegiving, (although they won't find out what for until at the actual ceremony), it's so that parents/family have advance notice so they can come along if they so desire.

I'd just like to say...there are never 'enough' prizes to go around everybody, so some people always miss out and teachers feel a bit stink about that but there are only so many Excellences and Merits etc that can be given out! Never mind, prizegiving is still a lovely time to celebrate achievements and remember lots of good times from over the past year.
