 Found this photo again - our Thai friends from Term 2 at the bus station on the morning they were heading off to Christchurch on their way home:




We had lots of fun with them while they were with us at KVC and we hope to see at least some of them back here for further study in the future!

This shot is of the Year 7 and 8 students I accompanied (along with Head Girl Jessica!) to the Halogen Foundation National Young Leader's Day at the Regent Theatre. We had inspirational talks and presentations from rower and filmmaker James Blake (son of Sir Peter), chef and Masterchef judge Josh Emmet, former Silver Fern and Southern Steel player Sheryl Scanlan, Attitude Presenter James Beck and Motivational Speaker/Former Police Officer Nick Tuitasi.

We got great advice and...a free pen!
