YUM! Miss Meehan and Miss McInnes helped us make ice-cream in Science, write poetry about ice-cream in English, and paint pictures of ice-cream and imprints for their cones in Art.
We got to choose to make either chocolate or vanilla ice-cream. We shook our ingredients up in double-bagged plastic, in side a large bag of ice and salt, which helped it stay cold.Many students enjoyed the taste so much (even if some groups remained a bit more 'slushy' than ice-cream!) that they were going to make it again at home!
Our alphabet poems were a lot of fun too - some truly disgusting flavours were invented by 8FL. I'm sure that not many of them would try to make THOSE flavours at home! :>
