Term 2!
We start Term 2 by welcoming two student teachers from the University of Otago College of Education, Miss McInnes and Miss Meehan. Over the next two weeks they will be teaching some reading, science, writing and art lessons with 8FL. All going well so far :>
We've also been trialling a couple of new resources for Learning Media, who have been getting feedback from some teachers about the usefulness and appeal of some new reading material - always nice to be asked for your opinion!
If anyone missed it, Wednesday's ODT had a (huge!) photo and article about our Year 7&8 Dean, Mr Burden, and his place in the New Zealand over 30's Touch Team which is to tour Scotland later in the year - a well deserved honour for a Touch fanatic! (the ODT link below will take you to the article)
